What We Liked
2200W output is exceptional at this capacity. Most 1kWh units cap out around 1500-1800W. DJI squeezed 2200W continuous into the Power 1000. That’s microwave territory, space heater territory, multiple-appliance territory.
The SDC port is a game-changer for DJI users. If you fly DJI drones, the dedicated SDC port charges batteries faster than the standard charger. Over a long shoot, that’s the difference between capturing your shot and waiting for batteries.
23dB is genuinely quiet. Most power stations have cooling fans that run constantly. The Power 1000 is nearly silent. If you’re recording audio, sleeping nearby, or just sensitive to noise, this matters.
Premium DJI build quality. Open the box, and it looks like DJI. Clean design, quality materials, thoughtful touches. This isn’t a generic Chinese power station with a logo slapped on.
140W USB-C on both ports. Fast-charge a 16” MacBook Pro and an iPad Pro simultaneously, directly via USB-C. No AC adapters needed.
What Could Be Better
1-year warranty is short. EcoFlow, Anker, and Jackery all offer five years. DJI offers one. For a company new to power stations, that’s concerning.
SDC is proprietary. If you don’t own DJI drones, the SDC port is basically useless. DJI sells adapters, but they’re extra cost and extra hassle.
Limited track record in this market. DJI makes great drones. We don’t yet know if they make great power stations that last. Early returns are positive, but there’s no five-year data.

The Verdict
The DJI Power 1000 is what happens when a premium brand enters a new market seriously. High output, quiet operation, premium build, and drone-specific features that actually matter. The specs don’t lie.
The warranty is the elephant in the room. One year is short, especially for a brand without a track record in power stations. If that doesn’t scare you off, the Power 1000 might be the best-built unit in its class.
Alex’s Power 1000 has been to Iceland, Patagonia, and half a dozen National Parks. His only complaint? He wishes he’d bought it sooner.
